Studies carried out by the Health Enhancement Research Organisation in 2016 have shown that workers eating healthily throughout the day had a 25% higher productivity rate than those who ate unhealthily. The research also suggested that those who exercise for a minimum of 90 minutes per week had a 15% increase in work productivity.
If you would like to become more productive at work, in your studies or in general everyday life, follow these steps:
- Exercise daily – this can be from a brisk walk to an intense workout class
- Eat 3 meals a day including breakfast and keep snacks healthy and nutritious
- Sleep early and wake up early
- Take supplements if you are low on Vitamin D, Folic Acid, Omega 3 & Iron. A general multivitamin each morning with food should be sufficient.
